Save A Daughter made great efforts in supporting Hurricane Harvey Victims in 2017 with 500 Care packages read below.
Residents, businesses and organizations across Northern Virginia are offering aid to victims of Hurricane Harvey. We're sharing several donation opportunities in the region. Here's one:
Save A Daughter Foundation is accepting clothing and personal hygiene items for 500 boxes and care packages that will be sent to Texas. Email info@sadfreshstart.com. Volunteers will also be need as packages are filled for shipment from 10-5 p.m. Sept. 16 at 9207 E Enterprise Court Manassas Park Virginia.
Linens: Towels/wash cloths, Sheets, Blankets - All sizes, Bedspreads - All size, Pillow cases, Pillows/new only.
Personal Hygiene Items: Soap, Body wash, Deodorant, Tooth Brushes, Lotion, Tooth paste, Feminine Products, Dental Floss, Shampoo/Conditioner
Cleaning supplies: Mop, Scrubbing cleaner, cleaning detergent, Brooms, Gloves.
Paint Supplies - Paint- Brushes, Rollers.
Furniture accepted - Sofa - No pull outs, Chairs, Beds- Twin - Full - Queen (No Bunk or Trundles), Inflatable beds (New Only), Dressers, Toy Chest, Lamps, Dinning Room Table and Chairs .
Household items - Pots/pans, Plates/bowls, Spoons/Forks, Cups/glasses.
